That Petrol Emotion – Manic Pop Thrill (1986)
Das Debütalbum "Manic Pop Thrill" von That Petrol Emotion aus dem Jahr 1986 ist Eine Mischung aus nervösem Post-Punk und tanzbarem, fast schon hyperaktiven Indie-Rock. Ein Paradebeispiel für den Übergang vom rauen Indie-Sound der frühen Achtziger hin zu einem neuen Pop-Verständnis. Oder zu rave?
