Wie ist die neue Joe Jackson Platte? Ich muss allerdings gestehen, dass nach "Body and Soul" mir kein Album mehr so gut gefallen hat.

Wie ist die neue Joe Jackson Platte? Ich muss allerdings gestehen, dass nach "Body and Soul" mir kein Album mehr so gut gefallen hat.

Der erste Eindruck ist gut. Hat schon einiges vom frühen Joe Jackson. Also dem vor "Body and soul" und "Night and day". Ich mochte das Album "Fool". Das war wohl das Vorletzte von ihm. In diese Richtung bewegt sich m.E. auch das neue Album. Stilistisch und wohl auch qualitativ.

Hör auf jeden Fall nicht nach dem ersten Stück auf. Das ist, ähem, etwas speziell und nicht unbedingt repräsentativ für den Rest des Albums. Wobei ich es nicht so schlimm höre wie andere hier.

Das kann ich nicht leugnen. Die meisten Interpreten, die mir auf StoneFM gefallen, behalte ich im Hinterkopf. Und bei meiner gestrigen Einkaufstour in München kam mir das Album zwischen die Finger. Lohnender Neuzugang, das kann ich selbst nach einmaligem Hören bereits sagen.
