Mir gefällt die neue auch gut. Ob die Songs wirklich geiler waren oder ob nur wir einfach geiler waren, weiß ich nicht so genau. Die Versionen auf der BBC sind gerade wo sie von den Studio-Versionen abweichen, hörenswert. That Dangerous Age ist hier z.B. um Längen besser als auf Sonik Kicks.

Ich habe das Café Bleu Boxset endlich bekommen! Gefällt mir sehr gut, die Extras sind wirklich spannend aber vor allem die Livetracks auf den CDs 5 und 6 sind klasse!

Joa, ich geb da mehr. Ich liebe diese ersten Council-Jahre, die hier wirklich optimal dokumentiert werden. Zusatz: Als Original-Album ist Café Blue nicht so gut wie Our favourite shop, aber die 6CD-Box ist mega und locker ****1/2. Vielleicht hat Zabel "nur" die Vinyl-Version bewertet? Wobei die aber auch stark ist...
