Elliott/Dedrick hab ich auf CD als "Double Trumpet Doings" (gab's laut Discogs 1960 auch schon als LP unter dem Titel) und finde ich auch eher schwach ... hab's allerdings ewig nicht angehört.
Bei mir lief gestern nochmal das neue vom Kris Davis Trio, Lost in Geneva, und das ist wirklich super! Bin jetzt auf das andere neue Piano Trio gespannt, das am selben Tag erschienen ist und für das ich bisher keine Zeit gefunden habe (David Virelles, Reggie Workman und Andrew Cyrille und ihr Trio Imagination).
