Ich habe sie bisher leider nur einmal gesehen. Ich stand fast 1,5 Stunden im Stau auf der Fahrt nach Köln und war 20:15 da - der einzige Rock-Act bisher ohne Vorgruppe und mit absolut pünktlichem Beginn - somit 1 x minus 15 Minuten.... Aber es war toll!!!

"Feenhafte" Attitüde sollte da stehen. Mein Horrorphone hat daraus "divenhaft" gemacht. Sorry. Die Konzerte in den Neunzigern waren schon ziemlich nice und halt Rock'n'Roll. Ich mochte sie auch zu "White Calk" Zeiten aber die Konzerte haben an Fragilität zugenommen und wurden auch immer konzentrierter und auch kürzer. So mein Eindruck zumindest. Aber ich mag solche Entwicklungen und man(n)/frau wird ja auch älter.

Ah, ja, das kann ich schon eher nachvollziehen. Wobei mir feenhaft zu sanft klingt. Ich habe bei der White Chalk-Ära mehr so Assoziationen an das 19. Jahrhundert und Kammermusik, inhaltlich war das ja teilweise ohnehin richtig harter Tobak. Für Let England Shake und The Hope Six Demolition Project wurde sie dann zur modernen Minnesängerin, die von Kriegen in anderen Ländern erzählt. Und mit I Inside the Old Year Dying zur (dunkel-) romantischen Poetin. Spannende Entwicklung und ich mag zumindest die Anfänge davon tatsächlich mehr als die 90er.
